A
Traveler’s Journal
I
found as I traveled that keeping track of what we did and where our money went
helped in many ways. I started with a
spiral notepad. Soon I drew charts on
the notepad pages to make it easier to record information and read. Then with
my computer I have formalized my travel log into this kit.
You will find that
A Travelers Journal
will help you in many ways.
Such
as:
-
assisting your labeling
of photos from the trip by referring to the diary entries
-
helping you stay within
your budget
-
providing a chart to
keep track of travelers checks used, expenses on credit cards, and cash
-
providing a reference
for future trip planning
-
being a reference to
return to exits, hotels, restaurants, etc. you
liked
-
being a reference to
avoid exits, hotels, restaurants etc. you did not like
-
saving time packing
with the checklist you can customize for yourself
-
helping you remember
groceries and other items to buy on the trip
-
giving you a place to
gather notes of things to do when you go back to an area or other ideas to
do in the future
-
a recording of your
mileage, time frames from place to place, and more
After
more than 35 years of keeping Travel Diaries my family and I have referred back
to them a lot more than we ever thought we would. My husband counts on having it to use as reference for every new
trip route he plans.
