TACO SOUP

 Kids love this one!

1 lb ground beef
1 pkg. Taco Seasoning  (or 1 ½ Tbsp) per 1 lb. of  ground meat
1 can pinto beans
1 can kernel corn
1 can diced tomatoes
1 ½  c water
½ green pepper, diced
½ c sour cream
½ c shredded cheddar

In a large pot: Brown meat - Drain any drippings - Stir in seasoning - Add next 5 ingredients – Bring to boil and then simmer for 5 minutes.

 Serve with sour cream & shredded cheddar cheese on top.

 Holly's Hints:

* Use ground round OR ground turkey to reduce the amount of fat. 

* If the kids like onions add some chopped up ones to the meat as you brown it or top with fresh chopped up onions

* This recipe is easy to double or triple to serve a larger group.
