Meet Holly...

The person behind Holly's Hints (Holly!) is an experienced, professional home economist and educator.  Her 30 years in the field and master's degree in Education have taught her that learning is a lifelong process.  In 2006 she retired from public education. Her past positions include: teaching high school home economics (Life Skills), art, and sociology. She has been a school Principal, directed State of Michigan public school grants, has worked for Michigan State University with the Cooperative Extension Service, and Ferris State University as Director and instructor. She did many guest appearances sharing how-to's on a local TV morning and noon show.  She provided her weekly 'Holly's Hints' on radio and for the county newspaper for over 7 years.  She has also been a guest speaker at numerous conferences and workshops.

Holly lives in north central Michigan about 60 miles north of Grand Rapids with her husband.

"I enjoy sharing my 'findings' with my family, friends and community,"  says Holly. "I hope readers will be interested in learning some of the little ways I've found to make life more enjoyable. And that they in turn, share this knowledge with others in their lives."
